How we tested
Every earplug was tested by a panel of twelve participants across ten consecutive nights in their own bedrooms. We measured noise reduction using a calibrated SPL meter at 1 kHz, tested alarm audibility at 75 dB from two meters, and tracked comfort and sleep quality through daily sleep logs and actigraphy data. All products were purchased at retail price. No manufacturer was informed of this review.
